A report has found that of females in 29 countries, Australians rank fifth in the number of hours each day spent doing unpaid work.

The comparison of how we spend our daily lives found women Down Under spend an average of 311 minutes slaving away in the kitchen, cleaning the house, caring for children, shopping and household-related travel – and 172 in paid work.
